Winter Clouds Haiku

Pregnant, winter clouds

wield lightning as a weapon;

spring returns to bed.

I have always liked haiku.  There is a simple elegance in expressing one idea in finite space, which forces use of concrete language.  Early haiku were generally about the seasons in some way, and always about nature.

  1. I really like the Haiku Jared. It is very challenging to capture an effect succinctly but I feel you genuinely captured the feeling of today's clouds in an elegant way!
