Self Portrait

For my self-portrait I attempted to integrate various colors, artistic effects from PowerPoint, and inspirational sources.  I have always been inspired by visual art- paintings, drawings, sketches, and cartoons.  I have been very lucky to find ways to integrate my creative side into my analytic efforts through data visualization. I am truly passionate about this topic and try to make data into art through appealing colors, clean lines, and interesting graphics. I first learned about this topic through a seminar taught by Edward Tufte, and have tried to improve on my visual portrayals ever since. In this same vein, I attempted to integrate many of these concepts into my self portrait, drawing inspiration from Andy Warhol.
